project background
This project is a course assignment on Landscape Design when I was in the third year of undergraduate. It is a compressive work including location analysis, site analysis, functional design, landscape design, architecture design, etc.
The project name “Looking for the shore” came from the history of the city where the site locates. The people here have a long tradition of sailing abroad, which can be traced back to a thousand years ago. Therefore, it might be meaningful to design a park that can be a recorder of this history, and create a sense of belonging for the people here.
Looking For the Shore
spatial design
In the process of design, what fascinated me most was creating different spatial experiences for visitors.
Nightscape Lighting Design
When the last ray of the sun disappears below the horizon, the lights in the park began to light up. According to the characteristics of different scenic spots, I tried to design a series of different lighting effects along the paths to create different atmospheres at night. And visitors would immerge in the moving melody played by the lights here.
